Description
The paintings, are created using fingers directly on canvas, are primarily abstract, and are gleaned from musings. Musings on the everyday going-ons of daily life. Musings on the political climate of the world. Musings on power and how it corrupts, how it encourages. Musings on infallible and ever-loving nature. Musings on inevitable emotions and their vivid expressions. Musings on readings from Clarissa Pinkola Estes to Erin Morgenstern, from Ernest Hemingway to Patrick Rothfuss. Musings on diversity and inclusion. Musings on love and acceptance. Musings on what it means to be alive, to be human.
While the sources are diverse, interpretations can be infinite. The paintings invite the viewer to make them their own, immerse their own life experience and practice into the dialogue, and create a conversation that can be entirely personal, or very very public. The invitation is for authentic engagement.
Framing options are possible. Unframed delivery is preferred, especially for international shipping.
The paintings are signed, and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
All the paintings are created with premium quality materials. The canvas is acid-free with titanium coating from Fine Art or Camlin.Special Holbein paints from Tokyo, Japan are used for the more unique shades. These are blended with Artist Acrylics from Winsor & Newton, Pebeo, Brustro, Royal & Langnickel and Camlin. Each painting is coated with UV protection and Japanese Design Coat varnish to keep the painting clean and fresh.
